Camping and Hiking 2008

I saw Missy busy picking

the dandelions so I

quickly grabbed my

camera for when she

came inside. Such a

precious moment.

Matt was starting his
hike with a wet head......I wonder why? I guess it was hot!

I think it was the cute little girl

that was part of our hike....!!



We hiked the blue bird trail and saw the
blue bird houses and
picked a dried bouquet
to take home to their mother.


This was close to the end of camping season for the year.
We did go out one more time in Oct.
We really enjoy our camping.

Camping Grandparents with Grandkids

of camping together
that we both could
bring our grandchildren

Lots of smores, hikes,
soccer, and then the
two grandpa's
said yes to a
hike by the
river....of course
that meant a
time to go wading!

The kids sure did have fun together.

Molly P. Winkle is who kept me in line. Don just said ignore her and she will leave you alone. Right! She just sat and nosed her way into the newspaper. No rest for me!

Billings Family Visit 2008

Aunt Rosine and I had a great visit at her home.
She was busy making a baby afghan for a great grandchild.
Looking pretty good for 80+.











Carol Ann and Don gave me the run
of their house....but Molly P Winkle
kept me in line!!! Thanks for all the
fine hospitality and good visit.
Lori, Zane, Chapin and Zoie
came for pizza and we had a fun visit.

CSN Reinion continued

I think it is rather NEAT that one of the pictures on the wall is of nursing from days gone by.








The coral of horses was just outside of our rooms. They were so beautiful. Looks like a neat painting.
There was a wedding at this location the same week end so there was lots of things happening. What a special time we had; we all remembered all those crazy songs we used to sing together...."Oh we are the girls from CSN you hear so much about..."

CSN Reunion 2008

Nine classmates from Columbus School of Nursing plus one friend gathered for a "60th" Birthday celebration at Chico Hot Springs.
What a great time we all had together.
Yeah, Margie can still do a great job bartending!!
Jeanette also had her "special" family wine!!

We visited, shopped, visited, ate, and played together for 2 1/2 days.
